The Role

As a Video Editor at Newrite, you will be responsible for crafting engaging and professional video content that aligns with our clients’ brand identities and marketing objectives. You will work on a variety of video projects, including marketing videos, social media clips, branded content, explainer videos, and presentations. Your keen eye for detail and storytelling ability will help deliver visually compelling narratives that captivate audiences.

What You'll Do

  • Edit and produce high-quality video content, including marketing videos, social media clips, presentations, branded content, and explainer videos.

  • Incorporate client feedback to fine-tune videos, ensuring clarity, engagement, and visual appeal.

  • Sync audio, apply sound effects, and ensure consistent quality in voiceover and background music integration.

  • Add motion graphics, animations, and visual effects as needed to enhance the final product.

  • Perform color correction, grading, and visual enhancement to maintain a polished, professional look.

  • Collaborate with creative directors, motion designers, and project managers to ensure cohesive storytelling and branding.

  • Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines.

  • Stay up-to-date with video editing trends and techniques, including the use of AI-powered video editing tools.

What You'll Do

  • Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or certificate in Film, Media Production, Visual Arts, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience as a video editor with a portfolio showcasing a range of professional video projects, such as marketing and promotional videos, social media and digital content, educational and training videos, sales and presentation videos, storytelling and branded content, and AI-enhanced video content.

  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.

  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted video editing tools like Runway and Adobe Firefly, including experience in generating AI videos to enhance storytelling and visual presentation is considered a strong asset.

  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to transform raw footage into engaging content.

  • Understanding of audio mixing, color correction, and special effects to enhance video quality and presentation.

  • Excellent English communication skills in both speaking and writing, with the ability to articulate creative ideas effectively.

  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.

  • Reliable and organized with the ability to meet project deadlines consistently.
